Everything started infront of Bonus!!!!!!

Having been working on and introducing my website "Netsaga.is" approx. for two years destiny happened to enter my ceaseless search for my "better half" in an amusing way.

During the fall of 2005 in very good weather I had once again placed myself infront of the Bonus-supermarket on Laugavegur in Reykjavik distributing my namecards to just about every customer.

-I happen to be so lucky to have great friends in many kinds of companies, eg. Kristjan and Valur, a father and son who own and run Borgarprent where they have absolutely free of charge made my namecards by the thousands, which I have been distributing allover-

and usually have tried my best telling them about my baby Netsaga.is a little bit, wishing I'd fuelled some curiozity and thus keeping them from dumping this little card straight away.

By sheer chance - some might say it was the intervention of some heavenly forces - a tiny lady approached me with her shoulder-long red hair, put out her doll-like right hand accepting the namecard:

-and asked in her harmonious Russian-English: -Can I send this to my friend?

-Yes of course you can, I replied her with my oxfordish snobbish accent, but this tiny pretty woman wearing a leopard-coat disappeared into the Bonus-lowprice-store supposedly from my life just as all the other women. .

These short dealings disappeared from my shorttime memory but returned a few weeks later when I received a mysterious email from Ukraine.

The sender an almost forty year old woman who writes that she had liked my photo where I am wearing a white tank top on the front page of www.netsaga.is. so much that she wanted to hear more about me, and she had received my namecard from Elena her friend.

She had aroused my interest.

The emails between us became a daily routine and I felt deserted each day there was not any emails from her.

She wrote that she knew only Russian and Ukrainian but used the website " www.mail.ru " that translated between languages and therefore the translations happened to be very decorative at times, so bad even that some time they could have been a real peacebreaker in international relations.

Just for the fun of it I'd like to tell you about that she managed to save enough money on her outrageously low salary for a trip to Iceland in August of 2006; her salary approx. $ 300 monthly.

She was my guest for a month in great ostentation, so good even that we decided to get married.

She returned in March the following year and Asgeir my dear brother married the two of us in my parent's beautiful home on Posthusstraeti in Keflavik in the evening of Thursday 15. of March 2007.
