-Well, at last, Loki yells and is not able to hide his happiness when he points his flashlight towards east, where the sun´s light has begun its crawling up the morningsky.

For quite a while they just stand and stare witnessing a wonder of Nature.

Observe how the sun changes the image of the environment completely, how the frightening shadows in the lava turn into rough lava rocks.

-Guys! Where are we anyways, Bjorn moans with true terror, when he´s at last able to look around?

There´s nothing to see but Lava-fields, except the narrow line of a road which twists like a snake through them.

The horizon is closed by the mountains. Sigmar recognizes Ingolfsfjall (Mt. Ingolfur), Hekla, Tindafjoll (peakmountains) and Eyjafjallajokull (islands´mountains glacier), Laugarvatnsfjall and Kalfstindar (calf-peaks) behind them from pictures he´d seen in some book he´d read but couldn´t remember whose name was. He remembers that Kalfstindar are close to Laugarvatnsvellir.

-Well guys, he informs them wisely. We´ve walked too far, our heading-place is located in Reydarbarmur (rorqual´s edge), which is north of
Flosaskard (Flosi´s pass), where Laugarvatnsvellir are to be found.

-Wow man, Bjorn moans with obvious admiration. How are you able to recall all that? He himself could never remember mountain names or their location. He was only able to recognize Keilir and Stapafell on the Reykjanes-peninsula, because he has them daily before his eyes when he´s in Keflavik.

-Oh, there´s nothing to it, Sigmar says obviouly quite pleased with the attention his speech has aroused with his companion, but to tell you the
truth I must admit that I recently did refresh my knowledge from when I was a child. This environment is really my homeground.

-Shall we turn around, Loki asks at the same time he kills the pressious flashlight, which is supposed to be used in the cave.
