    For the next few days, John stayed home a lot with Violet. He had also talked to Steina and was grateful to Paul for reacting the way he did. Violet had called up Solla friend to tell her what had happened, and a bit later she told Didi Stina about it. Speedy Simon had disappeared for a few days, and when he returned, John had gotten so far along in sorting out the matter, that he did not want to be bothered bawling out his father-in-law. That would have to wait.
