    Just Married

    While the wedding reception for Ian Smith and bride Cathy was in full swing, outside some of the guests were working on the groom's silver Commodore with shaving cream, tin cans on the bumper bar and straw stuck to the bodywork with honey.

    Ian and Cathy eventually emerged and headed for their car. It was polished and immaculate. Those who had worked on the -decorations- watched apalled as they drove away. They then had to explain to an irate man who had emerged from the pub opposite the reception hall to see what the fuss was about why his silver Commodore was not in the same state it had been when he'd parked it and gone in for a beer or two.
