The people of much of the Himalayas, including the Sherpas, Tibetans, Bhutanese, Nepalese and Sikkimese have many myths about the Yeti. There are many different stories and tales about the creature, and some aspects are placed even into the religious practices of some groups. Indeed in some villages of Nepal some people even in the 1990s, still had animal sacrifices to the "Snowman" before hunts.

Keep skid chains on your tongue; always say less than you think. Cultivate a low, persuasive voice. How you say it counts more than what you say. Make promises sparingly, and keep them faithfully, no matter what it costs.

Being disappointed is all about perspective. It took me a long time to realize this. I was under the impression that if someone did something I didn't like, or a situation evolved that I wasn't happy with, then I had the "right" to be disappointed. Of course the disappointment always led to me having the "right" to be upset, depressed, frustrated or even angry. After all, the situation didn't turn out the way it was supposed to, or a particular person didn't behave the way I believed they should. Therefore, it was disappointing to me and I felt let down. I never once thought it was just my perception of the matter that was causing my disappointment and that I could control this!

   Near the end of the year, when I´d reached forty years of age and having been a smoker since I was seventeen; pipes and cigars something happened.

 

    I´d never really liked this disgusting habit of sucking smoke, but the first one each day when I was satisfying my gained need for nicotine.

 

    All this time I'd become sick at least twice every year fighting a strenuous battle against disgusting cold-bacterias for a fortnight or longer, but when I was sick I wasn´t able to smoke anything because of my terrible coughing.

    My apartment is on the third floor in a seven floor block in Efra-Breidholt (Upper Broadhill) which some funny guys called Golan Heights.

 

This large block of a building can been seen from allover in Reykjavik, and it is the highest in our street Vesturberg.

 

I truly find the view from it quite remarkable and very mind strengthening, where I sit by my computer busy writing.

 

In my previous write-up, I had mentioned the danger of the volcano below Yellowstone geyser ticking on for a catastrophe.

 

 Now has come the report from a group of British and American scientists who feel that within the next few years, maybe 10 to 100 years, a volcano on Canary Islands may erupt leading to a series of mega-tsunamis.

As if strange symbols appearing on the ground aren't intriguing enough, how about "body symbols"?

 

Lee Walsh, UFO investigator from Damariscotta, Maine, has in her files a number of reports from New York, Massachusetts, Maine and some Canadian Provinces in which people describe symbols left on their bodies after encounters with UFOs.

We've all heard about the Loch Ness Monster, which is the granddaddy of all modern monster legends.  But is there really something going on in that Loch (Lake) in Scotland?  Nobody knows for sure, but there are unique circumstances here that certainly warrant further investigation, including the unusual configuration of the land and the lake itself, the long history of sightings from reliable sources that number up to ten thousand, and the fact that strange and undiscovered creatures most definitely do exist and occasionally come to light as we become more technologically advanced.  "Nessie" is the most renowned occurrence in the area, but what not many people are aware of is that ALL the lochs in the area have histories of sightings of strange creatures.

                         POLTERGEIST

 

"Poltergeist" is a German term for "noisy spirit".... which is an excellent description for this frightening phenomena. 

 

This kind of paranormal activity has made many victims literally run for their lives, completely abandoning their homes and possessions!

 

What is even more frightening is that Poltergeist activity is relatively commonplace. 

 

         AURAS

 

As living, energy-emitting, spiritual creatures, there is essentially no doubt that we all have a personal aura that can be seen and possibly photographed. 

 

Religious photographs depicting a supernatural  glow around the subject are classic examples of the existence and the importance of our own personal auras, and every life form has an aura - be it human, animal, or plant.

         The Ra Material

 

The Ra material is some of the most fascinating information derived by channeling to ever come to light.  

 

A man named Don Elkins started L/L Research in 1955 with the objective of "discovering and sharing information that would aid in the spiritual evolution of humankind."  

 

Pursuant to this, he spent years talking to people who had experiences with UFO-related phenomena, which led him into more areas of the paranormal, culminating in the Ra Material, which involved channeling sessions, with Carla Rueckert as the channeler, James McCarty as the transcriber of the taped material, and Don himself asking the questions. 

 

All three were always present during sessions (which lasted from 1981 until 1984), and created a "triangulation of light" that allowed the Ra entity to come through and compile the "Ra Material" or the "Law of One."

 

 

   THE PYRAMID PROPHECIES

 

We have all probably heard of the concept that the important historical dates for past and future events can be revealed by carefully converting the dimensions of the passageways and chambers of the Great Pyramid into years. 

 

Indeed, there do seem to be correlations for main earth events, such as the birth of Jesus and World War II, and though there are two different schools of thought on exactly how and where these measurements should be taken from within the Pyramid, the outcome for either scenario is essentially the same.

WHEN WERE THE PYRAMIDS REALLY BUILT? 

 

 

The official Egyptian stance on the subject of when the Pyramids were actually constructed has come under some serious criticism in the last century as evidence builds that the Pyramids are far older than previously thought. 

 

Obviously, the Egyptians have many reasons to "keep it in the family" by perpetuating the classic theory of the pyramids being constructed in about 4,300 B.C. by ancient Egyptian kings, and they do have some evidence for this theory, though at this point it seems highly questionable. 

 

THE PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES AND PLACEMENT OF THE GREAT PYRAMID - WHAT ARE THEY SAYING TO US?

 

Though most of the secrets of the Great Pyramid are to this day still shrouded in mystery, the one thing we can determine with certainty is the placement and physical attributes of this majestic ancient structure. 

 

Even this part of the subject is fascinating, revealing complicated and significant mathematical, astrological, geographical, geometric, and precision construction work unlike anything we have even in our own advanced technological society. 

 

                     INSIDE THE GREAT PYRAMID

 

At this point, it is pretty clear that the Great Pyramid was built to relay a message of some sort to future generations. 

 

We have seen that the physical outside measurements contain complicated references to just about every aspect of our physical world and even our solar system and beyond, indicating that whoever built this magnificent structure knew as much or more about the physics, geology, and geometry of the world as we do today. 

 

Therefore, it's no surprise that the inside also yields measurements that open up whole new vistas in science, mathematics, and even religion.

   Angels

 

The question as to whether Angels exist has been the subject of controversy since the dawn of mankind. 

 

Certainly, the Bible tells us that they exist, and for many, that's all the proof needed. 

 

But how can the skeptics among us be convinced that they actually exist? 

 

Is there any concrete evidence?

 

Obviously, a belief in one, all-powerful God is a prerequisite to believing in Angels. 

 

                                Guardian Angels

 

Guardian Angels.....ethereal beings who we feel and sometimes see....who snatch us from the brink of disaster and give us subtle advice.....who watch over us while we go about our mundane activities......what a wonderful concept! 

 

And a VERY difficult one to tackle on a paranormal website, I might add, even though the concept has been in the supernatural spectrum since ancient times. 

 

However, today Angels are inherently a highly religious phenomenon, and the implied concept of Angels is indirect communication with God himself. 

 

           The Angel of Death (The Grim Reaper)

 

A loved one is dying. 

 

The sick room is full of machinery droning on endlessly with a kind of white noise. 

 

The attendant has dozed off, but suddenly awakens, and in the dim morning light notices a figure standing near the dying person. 

 

Startled and frightened, the attendant is frozen in awe. 

 

                                    Psychics

 

 

We've all heard the speculation that we only actually use 10% of our brains for daily functioning. 

 

Can this be true? 

 

And what powers are we really capable of if we use ALL our brainpower?

 

The 10% theory has been around for a long time - since the 1800's, and is the result of a whole lot of misinterpretation. 

 

                                 Channeling

 

Channeling can basically be defined as the process of receiving and relaying  information from an outside entity while in an altered state of consciousness. 

 

The consciousness level varies from individual to individual, from deep trance to a very light meditation-like state.  

 

It appears that the channeler must go into this altered mental state to get in "synch" or reach a compatible vibrational level with the entity to be channeled. 

 

HOW WAS THE GREAT PYRAMID BUILT?

 

 

What we have with the Great Pyramid is a huge structure made out of big chunks of rock, each piece weighing at least 2 tons that rises 48 stories above ground level.  If you were an ancient Egyptian, how would you go about building something like this?

 

The traditional thinking is that the Great Pyramid was built course by course, and the rocks were quarried and then transported by over water by barge and over land by sled to the building site, then lifted using ropes and weighted arms similar to levers.  

 

               

The Vortices at Sedona

Sedona, Arizona is a scenic place with incredible red rock formations and a stark, transfixing beauty that is replicated nowhere else on earth.  

 

It is also, however, a spiritual Mecca and has been a sacred place for the Indians for thousands of years. 

 

Indeed, visitors to the huge formations almost always come away with the feeling that the entire area is somehow "different" and almost surreal.

Our environment is full of magical, mystical, and mysterious places that defy explanation. 

 

There are treasures yet to be found, stone carvings we don't yet understand, and architectural feats to be explained. 

 

Even as we live in what we consider to be the most technologically advanced society in all history, there are currently no air-tight explanations for most of the true wonders of our planet and beyond.

The Great Pyramids of Egypt are the oldest structures on earth, contain compelling evidence of a civilization far more advanced than ours, and most likely existed thousands of years before the great flood. 

 

With their original exteriors, they could probably be seen from the moon.

 

The Mayan Civilization left behind incredible structures containing precise calculations and prophecies regarding the exact date of end of the world........

A site being studied on the side of Mt.  Ararat in Turkey may be the remains of the Biblical Noah's Ark.

The Bermuda Triangle

 

 

 

The Bermuda Triangle or "Devil's Triangle" is a triangular-shaped area off the coast of Florida that is famous for reports in which strange disappearances occur and magnetic compasses go haywire. 

 

The area is situated in the Atlantic Ocean and is generally thought of as having apexes at Miami, Bermuda, and San Juan. 

 

 

The Brown Mountain Lights

 

They appear in the dark of night, suddenly appearing from unseen places within the shadowy forest. 

 

They are ethereal orbs that float up the mountainside, darting, dancing....and then in a blink of an eye, they are gone. 

 

Sometimes there are only a few and sometimes there are hundreds.

Jackie parked the car and left her sleeping mother inside while she quickly went into the store to pick up a few items. 

 

Shortly thereafter she noticed smoke billowing from the car, followed by an explosion of flames.  

 

As the car became engulfed, a passerby managed to drag Agnes out of the car and extinguish the flames. 

 

Though she remained remarkably calm throughout the whole ordeal, Agnes did manage to utter the words

In 1982, Jean Saffin, a 61 year old handicapped London woman, mysteriously burst into flames while resting on a wooden chair in the kitchen of her Edmonton home. 

 

Her father was nearby and witnessed this event.

 

Jean's father claims that he saw a flash of light out of the corner of his eye, turned to inquire, and was shocked to see that Jean was on fire. 

                     

Spontaneous Combustion

 

Spontaneous Human Combustion is a phenomenon in which a human body purportedly catches fire as a result of heat generated internally by some type of chemical reaction. 

 

This phenomena has been reported for hundreds of years. 

 

Indeed, belief in the past was that if a person possessed too much anger or drank too much brandy, he or she might burn to death internally - literally combusting into ash within a matter of minutes!
