Verkurinn hafði komið í kjölfar samtals fyrr ym kveldið, fundar með geðlækni sem hafði of lengi setið á hakanum.

''Hvað viltu ræða í dag, Tommi?''

Everything started infront of Bonus!!!!!!

Having been working on and introducing my website "Netsaga.is" approx. for two years destiny happened to enter my ceaseless search for my "better half" in an amusing way.

During the fall of 2005 in very good weather I had once again placed myself infront of the Bonus-supermarket on Laugavegur in Reykjavik distributing my namecards to just about every customer.

Two more aisles . . .

A man observed a woman in the grocery store with a three year old girl in her basket. As they passed the cookie section, the little girl asked for cookies and her mother told her no. The little girl immediately began to whine and fuss, and the mother said quietly, "Now Monica, we just have half of the aisles left to go through; don't be upset. It won't be long."

Ena Harkness - by Janice Simpson

Peter began to love roses the day his mother cut Ena Harkness, wrapped the stems loosely in day old newspaper and said "Take these to school for Miss Wannup." He put his head inside the paper and inhaled the dark sweet scent. He held them carefully all the way in the car and when his mother let him out at the school gate he barely noticed the others.
"What you got there Pete?"
"Ah, he's got flowers!"
"Flowers?"
"Yeah, he's got flowers!"

"My Husband is an Ameba" - Heidi Soosalu

"Anyway, I love him very much.

And I think marriages between different species are not illegal.

Nobody can lay the blame on me, at least; how should I have known beforehand.

I wonder if he knew it himself either in the beginning.

He made an impression on me already at

It all started in front of Bonus!!!!!!!!

Having been working on and introducing the Netsaga a couple of years, "destiny" intervened unexpectedly but delightfully in my relentless search for my "better half".

During the autumn of 2005 in quite a beautiful weather I was standing in front of the Bonus-store by Laugavegur in Reykjavik distributing my cards to just about any rover.

DEAREST GRAF

The piercing rain continued to pelter down on the lonely figure, as it stared aimlessly into the blackening night. Confusion shrouded the frail woman as she wondered how it was that she always wound up standing above the view of the city. She tried frantically to search for a piece of memory that would aid her in remembering the events that which led her to this place. Thunder deafened her ears and a stroke of lightning illuminated the sky. It seemed almost an omen and it startled her feet into flight. She fled down the mountain, down a path she knew all too well, her tears merging with the unrelenting rain.

Giselle slumped forward, screwing her eyes closed as the tiniest rays of sun found their way through the drawn curtains. She drew her knees to her chest and waited patiently for the remnants of sleep to leave her. A pounding headache loomed as she laboured out of bed.

'What a splendid way to start the day.'

Forgotten Flame

Forgotten Flame

Chapter 1

Alice was ready.

Her excitement had been growing ever since she'd emerged sleepily from under her pastel patchwork duvet, kissed her husband good morning and moved energetically into action with the morning's jobs.

An appropriately healthy breakfast was quickly prepared with orange juice, croissants and an immaculately ironed shirt put out for him to wear at work.

She noted with approval the twinkle in John's eyes this morning and that he was looking exceptionally dapper in his grey suit and light blue tie. Perhaps she should have stayed in bed longer - but then she dismissed the idea. There were too many things to do.

'Deaf orchestras play in silence'

'Deaf orchestras play in silence'

The last notes hung in the air and died softly. Then more than a thousand people were on their feet, clapping and cheering.

On stage, the musicians smiled. They could see the   applause on the face of every member of the audience. Not one of them could hear it, or the calls of "More!" and "Encore!" Except for the conductor, all the members   of the orchestra were completely deaf.

Mark saw Laura glance from the stage in his direction. She smiled at him, but there was a question in the smile. It was the one question he had not dared to ask her when   she had told him the incredible news about the orchestra for deaf people: "Does this mean you and I can play together again?"

'Love ___ A Thousand Miles Close'

'Love ___ A Thousand Miles Close' - a short yearning love story

I am sorry I can't introduce myself right now, because I am running.

The sun has not set yet but it is dark. There are dark clouds all over the sky and they are filling the air with water. It seems as if today they are going to cry all of their tears away. I am trying to run as fast as I can but the rain is faster than me. So far it hasn't let me win. The wind and rain are trying to stop me but I am not going to let them do that. The wind is firing the rain drops like bullets on my face but nothing is going to stop me today because today I have to reach for a place, I have to reach for my life, I have to reach for the bench; yes___ the bench.

I go pass the lamppost that is only illuminating the rain. I cross the road, jump over the wooden fence and land into the world of my yesterdays.

'Fistful Happiness'

'Fistful Happiness' - a short tender love story

Right now she is seated so close to me that I can feel her breath on my skin. In this blood freezing winter, I can't resist longer against her heat-pumping eyes. She is glaring at me for quite some time now and I am burning in the warmth of her intentions. I might have melted by now but a cold yet sober reflection has kept me from dissolving into weakness.

After losing the glare offensive, the five soldiers of her hand started creeping towards me. These soldieries were not communists any more, if they were, they would have snatched me by now. I can feel the vibration, caused by the creeping of her hand, falling into my bones. Although her hand is yet to touch mine; the oscillation of that heart-soothing near future has made my hand to frustratingly wont for a passionate hug of that slender-finger neighbor.

'The House'

'The House' - a short story

They were unloading the truck. Big muddy wheels had already compressed many of the tulips and the bricks falling heavily on them were crushing the rest. For the chrysanthemums another truck was on the way.

It was a beautiful place just in front of my house, full of trees and lush green grass floating on the ground, with tulips dancing in the cool breeze. But today a big ugly machine crushed them under its black feet. They were going to build a house. A big, new house with high walls standing at the place where tall trees were standing now.

She stopped for a few moments beside one of the eucalyptus trees, watching the tulips lying dead in the condensed grass and a huge monster standing tall on them with an ominous pride.

'Too Close To Be Near'

'Too Close To Be Near'
- a short love story

Long time ago, in a country far away, lived a princess, who loved to stroll on red dry leaves. In an autumn evening, while the sun was setting down, she, along with her fading shadow, would enjoy listening to the crackling of leaves under her tender feet. In the yellowish sunlight her face glittered like a diamond, her eyes shone like dewdrops, her lips bloomed like petals and her hair waved like a bucket of flowers swinging in the hands of a pretty little girl.

She would hum for a few moments along with the music of crushing leaves. Her audience was calm and obedient. The clouds only making the air clearer, the air only stirring up the leaves on the trees, the trees only peeping at their reflection in the pellucid water of the rivulet, the rivulet running silently along with dirty passage covered with dry leaves making its way alongside the cornfield, the cornfield swinging to and fro joyfully; all listened attentively to the wordless song in her closed lips.

Tears of Love

Tears of Love - Chapter 1

Behind the counter of a well known restaurant called Rose's Diner, on the East Side of Chicago, there are two women behind the counter. One is an average looking, brunette. She's the kind of woman who is everybody's friend. Her name is Jean Marie Hardin. The other woman is a real pretty one, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She has the kind of eyes, that you can see right through. And behind them is the dark side of fear.

She really looked out of place here in this quaint diner. She looked like she belonged somewhere else. Somewhere else in a kind of classy place, and certainly did not look like the waitress type. Her name is Karolina Myers, and she serves a good cup of coffee. She also offers good conversation and likes good wholesome jokes.

Love is better the Second Time Around

Love is better the Second Time Around -

It must have been a Friday the thirteenth for me that day. But no actually it just seemed that way. For actually it was just a typical Monday Bla-Day, for most people, except me. I am the only person I know who actually looked forward to Mondays. I usually was up early, getting a jump start off for the week. I booked as many appointments as I possibly could for the day, to kick off the week.

Who was I trying to kid, I did it to pull myself out of the miserable home alone weekend. The weekend I usually spent going over books and new properties and grocery shopping for quick meals for the week. But this Monday morning was entirely different than most, everything went wrong that could possibly go wrong.

'Blackberry Jam'

'Blackberry Jam'

"....and the weekend promises sunshine and southerly breezes. Make the most of it!"

The weatherman's cheery voice came from the TV, precariously perched on a pile of books, the only way she'd yet found for its cable to reach the socket. Piles of books, papers, magazines had always been a feature of Maggie's lived-in kitchen and they had grown in the dark days since January. But recent weeks had found her more able to cope with her situation and a measure of organisation had returned to her life.

But, like the TV, it was a delicate balance. To the outside world, she seemed cool and collected; inside she felt deeply vulnerable. Strategies had been adopted for coping; new routines found, places that would stir painful memories strictly avoided.

It all started last July.

It all started last July.

I was baby sitting my younger cousin Kristian while my aunt was out of town for the weekend. As it was getting late I put Kristian to bed and I began to watch TV.

Shana and Michael together in the UK

There wasn't much on the TV so I decided to go on the Internet for a little while. I had AOL and used to chat to friends on it, for some reason I was looking through the search for people who like baseball.

Blinded By Love!

Blinded By Love!

I finally joined Match.com, against my better judgment. At that time, I had just turned 34 and was ready to try [again]. I wanted to meet a nice girl - someone I loved being with and loved me back.

I was ready to get married, “settle-down” and have children. I wasn’t ready for this at 30, but I was now.

Da Capo

Da Capo
- a love story

It's the long silences that are hardest to bear.
Yet when sounds come: a burst of bird song; the rain on the roof; the wind through the eaves, I envy their melodies and rhythms. They remind me of the past when I too had the power of sound and could lift hearts, raise spirits and move people to tears. Each time my memories are stirred, the silence below becomes more oppressive.

The Beat-Ball

The ball was amusing, eventful and fateful, where some met their mates for life, incl. Loki who met the prettiest creature he´d ever seen.

After the dance a few graduates assembled in a good friend and villager´s flat, elementary teacher Birkir, who lived on the first floor of the district´s school, the end closer to the junior college.

The Festival

"I had been an A-student all my compulsery years in school and I was third from the top of my class on the final tests, Greta Pals and Matti Kjartans were ahead of me. I along with my best friend, Guy decided to attend a senior-high school (Menntaskoli) at Laugarvatn, which is a tiny village up in the country, along with a few of our schoolmates; Svenni, Boi, Biddi, Mummi, Kristin and Hildur.

The summer had been quite fateful in many ways; I became sixteen, got drunk for the first time and had some kind of sex with a woman without any one´s help which was quite a funny experience for me when I look back as an adult.

A Celestial Preface

Just as every wise human is aware of we're headed for a very long journey via six Heavens, when we'll die, before reaching the seventh Heaven, where we'll get the long desired diffusion with the pantheon, the nature viz.

Our souls will have to dwell unequally long in each of the six Heavens making the departed's dwelling often quite a hardship, but longest and most difficult in the first Heaven which we'll enter right after our death.

Return to Paradise

Lisa gazed out over the Caribbean Sea, feeling the faint breeze against her face - eyes shut, the white sand warm between her bare toes.

The place was beautiful beyond belief, but it was still unable to ease the grief she felt as she remembered the last time she had been here.

She had married James right here on this spot three years ago to the day.

Dressed in a simple white shift dress, miniature white roses attempting to tame her long dark curls, Lisa had been happier than she had ever thought possible.

How You Should Kiss Your Partner!

Loki Fownis happens to be the perfect kisser of women!

Many a woman hast praised him for his marvellous kissing which is something that doesn't really surprise him in any way for his motto is to kiss women in just the way he himself would like to be kissed, passionately.

He keeps in mind not to be monotonous.
