A Story About Soulmates - by iriana yoshara @3-38-07 The woman was in her 50's and I will call her Carol. Carol had a desire to relocate and was not able to make the change. She had been trying to for about 5 years. One day she saw someone advertising in her local Metaphysical paper saying that she was a "Mystic." Her fee was based on a love donation and Carol felt very drawn to making an appointment to see her. When she got to the woman's house she was astounded to find out that they had a mutual connection that was definitely synchronistic. This confirmed that she was in the right place at the right time. Carol told the woman whose name was Pat, that she had been doing everything she knew to do to make a move and relocate. Pat got very quiet and meditated for a few minutes. She then said she was guided to talk about Soulmates and Marriage which she proceeded to do. She then gave Carol a book she had written about Soulmates and said that God was telling her to do that. Next she channeled with very specific details that Carol was going to meet a man who she would later marry. Pat stated that the reason she was unable to leave that area was because she was meant to connect with and be with this man. This was the last thing on Carol's mind. She had not thought about meeting anyone for a long time. Her life was too unsettled and she didn't know where she wanted to be or what she wanted to do. She was taken aback by this information and really didn't give it much credence. Since she was still stuck in the area she decided to try and branch out. She went to an event and was waiting for someone when this man approached her and started asking her questions about what she was doing there. As they spoke it was apparent that there was an amazing chemistry between them. Carol was totally surprised but went with the flow.The next thing she knew they were in "a relationship" and living together. This was the man the Mystic had described with uncanny detail. The first two weeks they lived together were like "heaven on earth." And then......the honeymoon ended and it never returned. They stuck it out for over 6 years. They did love each other, knew they were Soulmates, and because of that, and because Pat had said they were to marry, Carol did everything she could not to give up. The facts were that they were on different paths and were not able to find a way to reconcile their lifestyle choices. After the 6 years of trying they had to go their separate ways. It was heartbreaking and it took Carol several years and much inner work to heal. But heal she did....the man went on to marry someone else who he had much more in common with. He however, was still very unhappy. This is often the story of Soulmates. They come together, feel the love and the connection. Then they are not able to be together in this incarnation because their paths lead them in very different directions. One or both of them are stuck in their belief systems and it is impossible to overcome the challenges they would face if they did marry or make the commitment to be life partners. It takes commitment to individual growth to heal lifetimes of pain. Soulmate relationships are a great catalyst for that healing. The two people have to be equally dedicated to working on themselves to be able to heal the lifetimes of Karma and hurt that they created.in the past. It can be turbulent and get in the way of what they think they deserve or should have. Most of the time we learn from the pain and turbulence and can come together again in another incarnation with more wisdom and patience. That is the good news!!! The even better news is that some Soulmates come together and are on the same path at the same time and live "happily ever after." You may want to take a look at your Soulmate connections and see how they have fit into this paradigm.....are you staying in them even when you can see that there is not enough commitment on your Soulmates part? Is the pain outweighing the Joy? Is it time for you to let go? Whatever your do, whatever your choice, remember that Love is everywhere. I had an unexpected client come to my home yesterday. She shared her story about her relationship with the man in her life. It was almost an exact parallel to another story I heard about 15 years ago from another client. I will share that story with you.
