Here is a photograph that I found very interesting. It was sent through the MUFON open submission files. On December 22, 2007, a man and his family were having a Christmas party in California, and were outside of their house at a fire pit. The photographer was taking some family pictures of those at the party, and he also turned around to take a photo of the full moon, which was in the eastern sky.
The moon was clearly visible through some trees in the backyard, and he thought it would make a nice photograph for the family album. He saw nothing unusual at the time, but later, when

Here is a photograph that I found very interesting. It was sent through the MUFON open submission files. On December 22, 2007, a man and his family were having a Christmas party in California, and were outside of their house at a fire pit. The moon was clearly visible through some trees in the backyard, and he thought it would make a nice photograph for the family album. He saw nothing unusual at the time, but later, when looking back over all of the photos of the party, he was struck by something he could not identify in his photograph of the moon. The object is hard to describe, but clearly is there. It was taken with an Olympus D-560 with a 10x optical zoom, set at maximum. Photographs like these are very difficult to determine the distance of the unknown object from the photographer, but still his photo is compelling. Strange, huh? What could it be?

Interesting photo! At first I would have thought it could be a result of a long shutter time coupled with slight hand shaking creating a blurred image of, say, a star or a plan, but it appears that there is an actual star at the top of the photo which is very crisp in appearance and this shoots down my first thought. So, this one is a mystery from my perspective.
Billy, have you given any thought or consideration to the October 14th prediction brought forth by the “channeler” Blossom Goodchild? I am not necessarily supporting or promoting this prediction, but it pretty interesting and has really swelled in the Internet consciousness recently. Allegedly there will be a, some say, 2000 mile wide diameter UFO that will be somewhere over Alabama (and a lot of other states with that size) for 72 hours to prove to humanity we are not alone. They have allegedly channeled this through Goodchild and made clear they will not be communicating with us on this trip (not in the traditional sense, at least), but instead are coming to I guess spur on our own conscious awareness of their existence (those among us who don’t already believe, that is). Something you may wish to cover, or maybe not.
Thanks Billy.. keep up the great work!
This photo looks like a triangle with small orb-like vehicles attached on top (or hitching a ride). Could it explain the “splitting off” of craft”? Whatever, it is an interesting photo.
What i don’t like about your stories and website is you never link the photo to a larger pic so your viewers can take a really good look at the objects, this is very annoying, geez, anything can be faked on a pic that size, get with the interweb and post decent sized pics so people can actually see what you hype,…
My 2 cents
@Eraser:
Blossom Goodchild is selling a new book, hence the prophecy date. You’ll see nothing on that date, I almost guarantee it. As much as I’d love to be wrong. I believe her recent correction indicates the South Pole, obviously something easily ignorable/unseen by the world. She doesn’t live in the US so the Alabama location was not her actual prediction. At least last I read on her site. Feel free to update this if you are a follower who knows differently, I’m just a casual obserever who happened to check her site out, myself.
my bet, since they were standing around a fire pit,is that its a piece of ash….ding ding ding ding ding, winner!
Floyd:
Thanks for the comments.. I am not a follower of Goodchild or any other “channeler” for that matter. I would, however, be interested in hearing about this “correction” you refer to as I have heard nothing. You say something about the South Pole.. is she now saying it will be there? If so, that would be quite opposing to the whole point of their arrival to begin with. The reason I want to know your source is that with the huge Internet hype, among certain communities that is, surrounding this story, I would suspect I’d have heard somebody else discussing this correction, but I have not. I am a believer in UFOs (both of this world and elsewhere) and would love her to be right certainly, but anything like this must be taken skeptically, albeit okay to have hope at the same time
Thanks again.
I thought that it was burning ash from the fire pit too
That’s 3 for burning ash!
Curious about what the dark spots are inside the shape, which looks like a heart to me. Also when I zoomed it in close the lights surrounding the shape looked to be in 2’s.
It is a UT-9 Air Force approach craft.
They fly out of that area on a regular basis.
if he was by a fire pit and he did’nt see the object when he was snapping it ,could it not be some cinders of sumthing burning off the fire ?
