UFO Sighting Reports
Connecticut-June, 2008-While walking my dog "Jake" at approximately 8:45 PM, I looked up at the early evening sky. It had rained and I wanted to see if it was still overcast, guessing at whether it might rain again or perhaps in the morning. I saw a streak of light in the western sky, and had thought at first it was a bolt of lightning. However, as I continued to view the growing darkness of night I realized that there were lines of light that simultaneously came out of each direction-north, south, east and west. They met in the northern sky, spun in a clockwise direction, and then each went back from where they came from.
These "lights" were not saucer or cylinder shape, they were "globes" of intensely bright, white light. As they traveled from each direction, a bright, white light trailed behind them. When they met and spun, they appeared to look like four "ying and yang" shapes. I live about one to one and a half miles away from several car dealerships which are in the north, and I thought to myself that perhaps it was a laser light show used as an advertising tool.
Waterbury, Connecticut is known for its steep hills and valleys, so to me it seemed impossible as each globe went to the north, south, east, and west as far as the eye could see. If it was a laser show, a hill or valley would get in the way stopping me from seeing its straight, continuous path. These "globes" traveled faster than any plane, helicopter, or jet that I have ever witnessed in my fifty plus years. I do not drink alcohol and I do not take any illegal substances, and I was not sleeping before I took my dog outside so I wasn't dreaming. I have NEVER seen anything like this. source: www.mufon.com
Florida-08-17-08- My son and I where returning from Jacksonville traveling on I-4 at the 75 junction at around 3:30 PM. There was a craft with no wings or tail noticeable above the Tampa International Airport. It looked larger than commercial aircraft, and had a Frisbee-shape with a slight reflection, almost see through look. It was partly cloudy at the time, and the sky was blue where the object was.
My son told me he saw exactly the same thing I did. It wasn't there for but a minute, and I almost had a wreck trying to see it more closely. We saw other conventional planes, but only this craft had no wings or tail section. source: www.mufon.com
Iowa-09-05-08-Northbound on my way to deliver meals-on-wheels at 11:30 AM, I pulled up to a stop sign at an intersection, and saw a car in the middle of the road with 3 men in it, which had evidently come from the east, and one of them was leaning through the driver's window aiming a white camera with a very long lens (about 1 to 1 1/2 feet long) at something.
When I looked in that direction, I at first thought it was an airplane he was filming, but as it tilted, I saw it was a disk with a bubble on both the top and bottom some distance away, perhaps about 3 miles at about 20-30 degrees up from the horizon. To me, it seemed about the size of a twin-engine Cessna. I became a bit apprehensive when one of the men glared at me, so after about 5 seconds I pulled away from my stop sign and went on my way. I saw in my rear view mirror as I headed on north that the 3 men in the car had now turned south. I'm puzzled as to how these men knew about this object. source: www.mufon.com
Michigan-09-09-08-I was outside having a cigarette looking up as usual, and sighted a star-like object around 9:50 PM, moving southeast, right above me. It was very high and slightly dimmer than most other stars. I kept looking and sighted another one going northwest. And again another one moving south.
It could have been the same thing, but they all seemed to fade. Lasted per sighting about 40 seconds a piece. And then to top it all off, I came back out to watch the skies again around 10:25 PM, and sighted three star-like UFOs in a triangle formation. I've seen these before, but this one was moving steadily south and eventually slowed and faded. The triangle held its formation very tightly, and eventually faded after it had slowed down. Canada-09-08-08-I was pulling out of my driveway, heading towards the grocery store. I'm always looking towards the sky and have spotted objects that I could not identify on a few occasions. It was a rather overcast night, near dusk, and the clouds were quite low. As I was driving, I noticed two bright, amber colored lights moving from west to east. I observed these objects from my car for approximately 1 minute.
What caught my attention was the lack of runner lights. I pulled over in front of our corner bank and got out of my car. The object move across the sky at a good rate, at least several hundred miles an hour, and disappeared into the horizon. source: www.mufon.com
